Spikes Quest Classic Demo Collection [now on MediaFire]

  1. To display participation

    1. HORIZONTAL MOVEMENT WHEN JUMPING INTO CEILING (badly tested)
Whenever the player jumps into and "hard" ceiling, the player may sometimes be moved horizontally (no odd vertical movement) left or right (but I feel is predominantly right). I also think it happens when you hit "between" a "square" that composes the game world, thus, if you jump repeatedly into the same spot and you trigger the glitch, and then you jump again without touching the movement buttons, you will not trigger the glitch. (This glitch seems to be an attempt to correct touching the edges of each "square" in the ceiling.

    2. ODDITIES WHEN STANDING ON X+Y MOVING PLATFORMS (badly tested)
When the player stands on the edge of an X+Y platform that is "being moved away from" the player has a tendency to fall off the platform, and when the player stands on the edge that "is being moved towards" the player may dismount/remount in rapid succession on the platform.

But asides from glitch reports (that I have a suspicion that you are already well aware of) I do have 2 small complaints.
I felt that there was inadequate "tips" to existence of fake walls as a game mechanic, the only real tip I received was the fully enclosed heart. (which was I was successfully hinted at on the second play session) In my first play session I thought that there was a door that "teleported" me to that room, and thereby I gave up searching for the possibility that fake walls were in the game (since I came to that conclusion). In the final release, maybe put up a sign (or a more intuitive "tutorial") that shows the existence of fake walls as a game mechanic.
I also felt that player movement on the ladders and the "grapple fences" was a little slow, maybe a speed boost of 1.33X?

The complaints and glitches I give feedback on are somewhat minor. I hope you take this as "subjective" "spontaneous" "fact" instead of something fabricated to alter the mood.
